The Express Entry program serves as the Canadian government’s digital platform for selecting skilled individuals seeking permanent residency. It encompasses candidates eligible for various economic immigration pathways, including:
- The Federal Skilled Worker
- Canadian Experience Class
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Provincial Nominee Programs
Steps for applying through Express Entry
- To start the process, you can create a profile through Express Entry.
- If you don’t have a job offer, you have the option to sign up for the job bank.
- Once you meet the minimum requirements for any of the categories, your profile will be placed in the Express Entry pool, and a score will be assigned to you using the comprehensive ranking system.
- Receiving a job offer or a provincial nomination can increase your score and ranking, improving your chances of selection.
- If your score exceeds the cut-off threshold, you’ll be invited to apply for permanent residence.
- After receiving an invitation, you’ll have 90 days to submit your application for Permanent Residence.
Please note that meeting the criteria and creating a profile doesn’t guarantee an invitation to apply. If you want assistance in evaluating your specific profile and estimating the points you may receive, feel free to reach out to us.
